Industrial lifting magnet is the new cost savers in heavy material industry. They don’t require clamps, slings, vacuum or anything else for that matter. Self-sustainable if you ask me! Their load lifting capacity depends on the size of the magnet and then on this depends how they are suspended or used.

There are two types of industrial lifting magnet that is permanent magnets and electromagnets. Permanent ones can be used to lift up to 2,500 pounds. Electromagnets can lift much more but require a constant power source. So permanent magnets are more preferred when there can’t be a constant source of electricity. Sometimes they are just a back-up lifting device.

Industrial lifting magnets significantly reduce time required to do operations as there is no need for any slinging, latching and things like that. They make activities more efficient and quick, thus saving on cost too.
